Daybooks, 1822-1824.

Consists of two daybooks kept from Dec. 1822 to 1824 that document the blacksmithing activities of Horace Clark and Eratus Holcomb. The two men performed such tasks as toeing and setting horseshoes, mending wagons and tools, and making butcher's knives, chains, links, hooks, hinges, bolts, and other metal pieces. In the back of the second volume there are accounts of the total amounts owed by various customers.
